Location: Carowinds Amusement Part in Charlotte, NC Time: June 20th and 21st all day event
The 1st Annual Carowinds Car Show introduced a wide showing of classic and custom collectable cars. In walking throughout the park you would witness groups of classics with the main show located in the near the entrance into the Carowinds Amusement Part.
The show brought together classic car enthusiasts and spectators who are unaware of the collector car hobby. This was a great way to introduce the our exciting hobby to the public, and tell the stories behind each collectable car. The younger generation had a eye popping thrill while glancing inside and outside of each classic car. The concept of having groups of classics positioned in various spots in the park was exciting, and it provides a unique way to grow the interest of the hobby to a new audience.
The security for the classics was top of mind during the show event. A security guard was assigned to each grouping of classics, and Do Not Touch signs were placed on each classic car. The detail to the care of the collector car was truly appreciated.
